Forthcoming Deadlines for Member States comments

As agreed during the Eighth Session of the Committee on Development and Intellectual Property (CDIP), held in Geneva from November 14 to 18, 2011, Members States are reminded of the following deadlines:

1. Written comments and suggestions on the Taxonomy Analytical Study for the Project on Open Collaborative Projects and IP-Based Models (CDIP/8/INF/7) , by January 31, 2012, as indicated in the paragraph 14 of the Summary by the Chair.

2. Written submissions on case studies of potential relevance and interest concerning the project on Intellectual Property and Informal Economy (CDIP/8/3 REV) by February 1, 2012, as indicated in the footnote 2 of the project document.

3. Written comments on the document CDIP/8/6 entitled Description of the contribution of the relevant WIPO Bodies to the implementation of respective Development Agenda Recommendations, as indicated in the paragraph 5 of the Summary by the Chair. No deadline was set by the Committee. However, to enable the Secretariat to compile the comments, Member States are requested to provide their comments by March1, 2012,

4. Written comments on document CDIP/8/INF/4, entitled Interaction of Agencies Dealing with Intellectual Property and Competition Law: Summary of Replies by Member States and document CDIP/8/INF/5, entitled Interface between Exhaustion of Intellectual Rights and Competition Law, by March 10, 2012, as indicated in the paragraph 13 of the Summary by the Chair.
