Mr. Dominique Guellec, a national of France, is senior economist at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). He is responsible for the science and technology indicators unit, which sets methodologies, harmonises and publishes science and technology statistics from 30 industrialised countries: regarding notably research and development, human resources, innovation and patents. He has contributed to various OECD studies regarding technological change and economic growth and published various books and academic articles on the economics of growth, innovation and patenting.
Mr. Guellec is currently in charge of the OECD activity on "Intellectual Property Rights, innovation and diffusion of technology".
