PATENTSCOPE® search service: PCT file contents available soon

The complete file contents of published PCT international applications (with the exception of confidential documents that the International Bureau of WIPO may not communicate) will soon be available online through PATENTSCOPE® search service. 

As a first step, the PCT Request Form (PCT/RO/101) is now available for PCT applications with an international filing date from January 2006.  Further documents such as correspondence, copies of forms, original documents filed by applicants, will be added in the coming months.

Access to files of PCT applications is given according to Rule 94 of the Regulations under the Patent Cooperation Treaty.  Until now, access has been on request only and subject to reimbursement of the cost of the service.
