Back-to-Back Mission: The WIPO Re:Search Annual Meeting is scheduled to take place on November 6, 2014, in New York City, USA. Related to our attendance at that meeting are the opportunities to advance progress on other Global Challenges Division workstreams (e.g., WIPO Essential) and also our attendance at the IP Management Training Workshop, November 4-5, 2014, being organized by the Innovation Division for the benefit of developing country Members of WIPO Re:Search. This allows WIPO to hold the meeting in New York at minimal cost to WIPO. Since this is not a public meeting, we do not see any issues in holding the Consortium event at one of its Member's headquarters. IP Management Training: The IP training seminar for the benefit of developing country Members of WI PO Re:Search.will be held in the WIPO New York office, which will minimize any direct cost to WIPO. This will be led by the Innovation Division working closely with the Global Challenges Division. The Innovation Division has received a substantial allocation under the current FIT Australia for IP training in developing countries.
