The American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Annual Meeting this year will take place from October 24 to 26, 2019 in Washington, D.C. WIPO is a long-term exhibitor at this event and the practical preparations for exhibitors begin well ahead of the Meeting.
It is proposed that Mr. Pascal Piriou from the PCT eServices Unit, External Systems Development Section, PCT Information Systems Division, with another PCT colleague yet to be identified, attend this event in exhibitor capacity, to provide meeting delegates with demonstrations of ePCT as well as other PCT and WIPO services. The AIPLA annual conference is an excellent opportunity for the ePCT team to engage with the PCT’s largest filing market, and further promote use of ePCT. Therefore participation of two staff for this mission is proposed to ensure full-time presence at the WIPO booth. Moreover, the PCT Learning Center is also planning to organize an ePCT hands-on training seminar with the PCT staff as trainers in the D.C. area prior to the AIPLA meeting, on October 22, 2019. |
