Royal Decree 33/2017
Promulgating the Trade Mark Law (System) of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Law of Industrial Property Rights promulgated by Royal Decree 67/2008,

and the decision of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in its 33rd (thirty-third) session held in the Kingdom of Bahrain on 24 and 25 December 2012 adopting the Trade Mark Law (System) of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf,

and after presentation to the Council of Oman,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The provisions of the attached Trade Mark Law (System) of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf shall apply.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette.
