The purpose of the Seminar is to have an in-depth discussion with the countries in the CEBS Region, about the main objectives of National IP Strategies, focusing on: IP Governance; Boosting Inventive and Innovative activities of Universities, Research Institutions and SME’s; IP Enforcement; Current challenges of the copyright framework, New initiatives on IP Awareness Raising and IP Teaching. The second part of the event will be dedicated to sharing experiences on the implementation of the national IP Strategies, and discuss what could be the most effective mechanisms for monitoring the implementation. The participants will also discuss lessons learned and strive to develop recommendations for the future. |
