The objectives of the National Seminar would be to discuss the practical issues of IP management and the challenges faced by universities and research institutions in Belarus in this field in order to better understand and assess the needs for the elaboration and implementation of the IP Policies Project in Belarus.
The objectives of the Regional Workshop would be to: i) raise awareness on the value of the development of IP policies for universities and research institutions, and on WIPO’s customized tools and methodologies in this field; ii) share experiences and good practices/ lessons learned related to the elaboration and implementation of IP policies projects at universities and research institutions, and networking in this field; and iii) identify, with the Expert Group, the way and main steps towards the realization of the IP Policies Project in Belarus. |
