Members of the judiciary are invited to register for the 2021 WIPO Intellectual Property Judges Forum (November 10-12)

September 22, 2021

This year’s Forum will again be conducted virtually, over three days from November 10 to 12, in daily sessions from 13:00 to 15:30 Geneva time.

Online Registration

A draft program and list of confirmed speakers is availble on the Forum webpage at www.wipo.int/judgesforum2021, which will continue to be updated with further details.

Message from Justice Annabelle Bennett, Chair, WIPO Advisory Board of Judges

A special theme of this year’s Forum program will be judicial patent case management, with topics covering issues such as distinctive judicial case management challenges for patent disputes, patent invalidity and infringement proceedings, and unique issues in biologic and pharmaceutical patent disputes.  The discussions will also address case management issues of relevance to IP disputes more broadly, such as decision makers and the role of experts, and damages.

Participation is open to members of the judiciary, and members of quasi-judicial, administrative tribunals that are active in adjudicating intellectual property disputes.  Judges who wish to register but have not received a secure code are invited to contact the WIPO Judicial Institute.
