PCT Operations Division

The PCT Operations Division is responsible for the administration and smooth functioning of the operations of the PCT. It is the operational hub of the international patent system established under the PCT, with links to national and regional patent offices of all PCT Contracting States, as well as inventors, patent applicants and patent agents.

Our activities include:

• receiving, examining as to formalities, publishing, communicating and archiving the international patent applications and related documents, data and fees filed by the applicants/agents under the PCT;
• ensuring high standards of quality, quantity and timeliness for the service delivery relating to the international patent applications and related documents;
• providing high-quality customer services to PCT users in all 10 official
  PCT publication languages.
