ENAPID – Academic Meeting on IP, Innovation and Development

The National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) and WIPO jointly organized the 10th edition of ENAPID – Academic Meeting on Intellectual Property, Innovation and Development from September 19 to 21, 2017. This year the Meeting aimed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the master and doctorate programs on intellectual property and innovation developed by INPI.
The WIPO Brazil Office (WBO) was represented by Mr. Graça Aranha, Regional Director, who was part of the opening ceremony and who also spoke at the conference on the topic of the future of the IP, as well as by Ms. Liliana Mendes, National Professional Officer, who highlighted the WIPO Academy results as part of a roundtable that discussed the topic.
The event took place over three days and featured around 285 participants – including representatives from research institutions, industry, government and national and regional experts – who discussed the promotion of IP analysis, as well as technology transfer.
