IP Office from Russia (ROSPATENT) in Brazil

On November 23, 2018, a delegation from the Russian Federal Service for Intellectual Property (ROSPATENT) came to Brazil to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) regarding bilateral cooperation on the enhancement of national IP systems.
After the signing ceremony, the Director of Rospatent, Mr. Grigory Ivliev, delivered technical lectures for INPI senior staff on the Russian IP system and the functioning of ROSPATENT. The lecture focused on Rospatent activities in the area of technology information, capacity building and the functioning of the Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO).
On November 24, Mr. Gregory Ivliev delivered a lecture on the WIPO Brazil Office (WBO) for a selected audience of 17 participants from INPI, the Brazilian Association of Industrial Property Agents (ABAPI) and the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI), on the management and functioning of ROSPATENT. The main topics covered were the Madrid Protocol and the administration of human resources.
