The WIPO Green platform for green and sustainable transactions encompasses around 130,000 green technologies from 153 countries, connecting green technology providers and seekers. It is recognized by the UN Digital Day as a game-changing green solution in the world today. Currently, WIPO Green has 8 partners in China, and over 9,400 Chinese green technologies have been uploaded to the platform.
Ms. Liu Hua's remarks reflect the significant strides China has made in the field of innovation, as evidenced by its 12th position in the 2023 Global Innovation Index report., still being the only middle-income economy breaking into the top 15. China boasts 24 top S&T clusters, ranking first globally.
