【WJO’s Events & Activities】Lecture and Workshop at Aoyama Gakuin University

On 1 October, 2014, Mr. Okamoto, a Counsellor (Acting Head) at the WIPO
Japan Office (WJO), gave a lecture on IP Advantage at Aoyama Gakuin University’s Graduate School of
Business to students from different developing countries that are studying in the Strategic
Management and Intellectual Property Rights Program (SMIPRP), an English-based Graduate Program.
After the lecture, Mr. Okamoto, Mr. Jonah Asher, Associate Research Officer at the WJO, and Ms.
Momoko Iwahashi, Administrative Assistant at the WJO, promoted the
IP Advantage database, which is a compilation of successful case
studies on the utilization of intellectual property from around the world, by conducting a workshop
utilizing case studies from the database.
