Lecture and Workshop on IP Advantage at Aoyama Gakuin University

On September 30, 2015, a counsellor at the WIPO Japan Office (WJO), gave a lecture on the IP Advantage database of intellectual property case studies at Aoyama Gakuin University’s Graduate School of Business.
The lecture was delivered by Mr. Okamoto, counsellor at the WJO, and the audience included students from various developing countries, currently engaged in studying for the Strategic Management and Intellectual Property Rights Program (SMIPRP), an English-language graduate degree.
Following the lecture, Mr. Okamoto; Mr. Jonah Asher, Associate Research Officer at the WJO; and Ms. Momoko Iwahashi, Administrative Assistant at the WJO showcased the IP Advantage database, which is a compilation of successful case studies from around the world on the utilization of intellectual property. The discussion of IP Advantage took the form of an interactive workshop utilizing case studies from the database.
