World IP Day 2018 Roundup

World Intellectual Property Day 2018 was dedicated to the theme Powering change: Women in innovation and creativity. The event provided an excellent opportunity for intellectual property (IP)-related awareness raising in the Russian Federation.

More than 200 activities were conducted throughout Russia to mark World Intellectual Property Day and the importance of IP, including :

  • Award ceremonies to honor individuals and organizations for their outstanding contribution to IP development in the Russian Federation.

In all events, WIPO representatives in Russia passed on WIPO Director General Mr. Francis Gurry’s core message:
