Congress of Technology and Innovation Support Centers in St. Petersburg

The VI Congress of Technology and Innovation Support Centers (TISCs) was held on September 3 and 4, 2018 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The event brought together representatives of TISCs from various regions of the Russian Federation.

The 2018 TISC Congress focused on the promotion and further development of the TISC network in the Russian Federation as well as on raising awareness and enhancing experience sharing among Russian TISCs. As of today there are more than 170 TISCs in Russia. More than 150 participants and representatives from 30 Federal Subjects of the Russian Federation took part in the conference.

High-level participation

In their opening statements at the plenary session Mr. Georgiy Poltavchenko, Governor of Saint Petersburg and Mr. Grigory Ivliev, Director General, Federal Service for Intellectual Property of the Russian Federation stressed the major role and impact of the TISCs in driving the innovation-led transformation of Russia’s regions.
