WIPO Representatives held National Seminar Intellectual Property Management by Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Ufa

On October 28 to 29, the National Seminar Intellectual Property Management by Small and Medium-sized Enterprises was held in Ufa.

World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) representatives made presentations and talked to IP specialists and employees of enterprises and universities at the Bashkir State University (BSU) about:

  • WIPO Global Services and Capacity Building Programs;
  • Small and Medium Enterprises and the Commercialization of IP.

In addition, WIPO experts provided an overview of successful innovative SMEs and together with the participants took an active part in a panel discussion on current issues of IP commercialization and the cooperation of science, education and business.

All participants of the event received practical information and recommendations regarding the said topics.

The seminar was organized by WIPO in cooperation with the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent).
