How to enter the National Phase?

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) will hold a new webinar in Russian on how to entry a national phase under the PCT System.

Thursday, November 16 (11.00-14.30 Moscow time) – with a 15 minutes break

The webinar Entry into the National Phase will elaborate on:

  • what decisions must be made by the applicant to enter the national phase,
  • what time limit exists for such entry,
  • what types of protection are available from the relevant authorities,
  • which action need to be taken to enter the national phase,
  • what documents need to be filed with the Office when entering the national phase
  • what fees are to be paid for entry into the national phase,
  • which actions should be done to start the substantive examination,
  • what are the possibilities for accelerating the substantive of the application,
  • what are the possibilities for reinstating the time limits for entering the national phase.

Representatives from the EAPO and national patent offices will participate in the webinar to share the specifics of the transition to the national/regional phase of these offices.

The webinar will be held in Russian. After the webinar, you will have an opportunity to ask specialists all the questions you might have.
