Organized by the WIPO Singapore Office, WIPO’s SMEs and Entrepreneurship Support Division and with the assistance of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore, the event featured expert speakers from the IP offices of Australia, Singapore and Switzerland, as well as an expert based in Austria.

Speakers shared their organization’s journey from being a traditional process-based office to one where they actively support key facets of the innovation ecosystem through new services, tools and approaches to customer service.

Key outcomes from the session included the importance of effective integration of all “players” (both public and private sector) within the innovation arena, the value of collaboration between these entities, the significance of evaluating initiatives to ensure they are fulfilling a market need and the benefits of having an overarching strategy to guide efforts and provide direction.

The video of the webinar is available as are the PowerPoint presentations.

The webinar was organized under the WIPO-Government of Singapore MoU.
