Statement from WIPO Director General on the Ethiopian Airlines Crash

My colleagues and I at the World Intellectual Property Organization join the entire international community in mourning the tragic loss of so many lives in the crash of Ethiopian Airlines flight ET 302.

We send our deepest sympathies and condolences to all who lost loved ones, friends and colleagues in this terrible incident, as well as to the Government and people of Ethiopia. We salute all the UN system colleagues who perished in the line of duty, while advancing principles that bind us all together.
