Launch of WIPO-Tongji University Master’s Degree

On September 19, 2017 the WIPO Academy and Tongji University launched a Joint Master’s degree program in Intellectual Property Law with a Specialization in Design at an opening ceremony at the Shanghai International College of Intellectual Property (SICIP).
The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Sherif Saadallah, the Executive Director of WIPO Academy, Dr. Zhimin He, the Deputy Commissioner of State Intellectual Property Office of the People’s Republic of China (SIPO), Mr. Xielin Wu, the Deputy Secretary - General of Shanghai Municipal People's Government and Dr. Zhihua Zhong, President of Tongji University.
A total of 92 students attended the opening of the first edition of the program, which will run until December 2018.
