The Jagiellonian University in Kraków is organizing its third Intellectual Property (IP) Law Summer School in Kraków, Poland from September 16 to 21, 2019.
Which topics are covered?
The one-week intensive program covers a range of topics under the theme of IP overlaps including:
- interfaces between different types of IP rights,
- practical consequences of overlaps, and
- strategies and solutions to deal with the misuse of overlapping rights.
The summer school program consists of lectures as well as workshops, case studies and group discussions delivered by recognized academics and practitioners in IP.

Registration for the summer school is open until July 31, 2019 through the Jagiellonian University website. Early bird registration closes on April 30, 2019.
The summer school is open to law students (undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students) and young professionals (attorneys, counsellors-at-law, patent attorneys, legal trainees) with a good command of English. The program is specifically designed for candidates who wish to obtain deeper knowledge of IP law.
