Establishment of Intellectual Property Training Centers in Costa Rica and El Salvador

The WIPO Academy has concluded the fourth and final training of trainers modules in Costa Rica and El Salvador marking the official completion of the national intellectual property (IP) training center projects in both countries.
Training of trainers – Costa Rica
The final training of trainers for the National IP Training Center of Costa Rica took place at the National Registry in San José from November 25 to 29, 2019, where 27 trainers benefitted from interactive lessons on substantive IP topics and pedagogical aspects including curriculum development.
Training of trainers – El Salvador
Nineteen trainers took part in the final training of trainers module organized at the National Center of Registries (CNR) in San Salvador from December 9 to 13, 2019, for the establishment of the National IP Training Center in El Salvador. The module covered practical IP cases and teaching strategies. The trainers were also invited to the opening of the Forum on IP and Sports.
