Registration Extension: WIPO Summer Schools in Belarus and Nigeria

The WIPO Academy Summer Schools with the National Center for Intellectual Property of the Republic of Belarus, and the University of Lagos have extended their registration deadlines.

Applicants can still register for the first WIPO-Nigeria Summer School until July 8, 2021. The program will be held in English and in person at the University of Nigeria campus from July 5 to 16, 2021.

Register for the WIPO-Nigeria Summer School

Registration for the WIPO-Belarus Summer School has been extended to July 5, 2021. The program will be held in Russian and will take place in a hybrid format, combining Zoom courses with in-person sessions at the National Center for Intellectual Property of the Republic of Belarus. The WIPO – Belarus Summer School is scheduled to take place from July 19 to 30, 2021.

Register for the WIPO-Belarus Summer School

The WIPO Summer Schools provide students and young professionals practical knowledge of intellectual property (IP), including an in-depth understanding of the latest developments in the field. Each session is taught by expert lecturers from the private sector, government and academia. The WIPO Summer Schools are an excellent networking opportunity for those starting their careers in IP, and an exciting learning opportunity for those wishing to gain practical skills through workshops and simulation exercises. Upon the successful completion of a summer school program, participants are awarded a certificate.
