New WIPO-Kazakhstan Summer School for Russian Speakers

The WIPO Academy is offering its first summer school program in Kazakhstan for Russian speakers. The summer school will be held online from July 18 to 29, 2022.

The summer school is aimed at young IP professionals and students seeking to learn more about a range of IP topics such as IP valuation, branding, management, creative industries, technology transfer and licensing. The summer school program will be delivered through a series of interactive lectures, case studies, simulation exercises and group work.

Participants who successfully complete the summer school are awarded a joint certificate from WIPO and the National Institute of Intellectual Property (IP) of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Registration is open until June 30, 2022 on the WIPO eLearning Center.

Applicants must include a motivation letter (up to 300 words) explaining why they wish to attend the summer school, a recent curriculum vitae, and a valid identification document (such as a passport or ID card) in their online application.
