Sign up Now: Roundtables on Women and IP Education

In celebration of World Intellectual Property Day, which is themed “Women and IP: Accelerating innovation and creativity”, the WIPO Academy is organizing two virtual Roundtables of Intellectual Property Training Institutions (IPTIs) on Women and Intellectual Property (IP) Education. The first roundtable will be held on May 3, 2023, in Spanish, and the second roundtable on May 4, 2023 in English.

During the Roundtables, several IPTIs will showcase how they provide IP training and skills-building programs to women at the national and regional levels, and present some of the cooperation projects for women to be implemented this year with the support of the WIPO Academy, including for women researchers, entrepreneurs and creators.

This is a unique opportunity for an open dialogue and experience sharing on best practices for delivering impactful IP training and awareness-raising efforts for women, and on how women can use IP as a tool to enhance competitiveness in local industries. The Roundtables are open to the public, for the benefit of anyone wishing to learn more about IP education best practices and experiences aimed at empowering women creators, innovators and entrepreneurs.
