The roundtable is organized in the context of the WIPO-UNESCO-KIPO Leadership Course on Intellectual Property, Science and Innovation for Women Scientists and Innovators, which is taking place from April 25 to 28, 2023.
This is a unique opportunity to hear from world-renowned scientists and entrepreneurs such as Tiffany Norwood, Helen Lee and laureates from the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Programme, who managed to turn intellectual property (IP) into real world benefits.
The discussion will also explore strategies to create enabling environments for women and girls to enter STEM fields and the IP system, and the benefits of their inclusion.
