Why apply?

The WIPO Summer Schools are an exciting two-week opportunity for graduate and postgraduate university students and young professionals interested in learning more about intellectual property (IP) as an instrument of economic, social, cultural and technological development, as well as the role that WIPO plays in the global IP system. The summer schools also offer participants a platform to network with peers, in addition to IP experts from academia and the private and public sectors. Participants benefit from a practical approach to IP through simulation exercises, group work, panel discussions and case studies.

Upon the successful completion of a WIPO Summer School program, participants are awarded a WIPO certificate.
