Eighteen Juris Doctor students at American University benefited from the unique opportunity to learn from WIPO experts about a range of IP topics such as:

  • WIPO treaties
  • Generative artificial intelligence (AI) and copyright
  • IP and climate change, and
  • Protecting inventions internationally.

Taking this course at WIPO challenged my perception of intellectual property on an international scale. Hearing directly from speakers about the evolution of intellectual property rights at WIPO was an incredible experience that I highly recommend to any student interested in learning more and expanding their worldview.
