Relevant differences between the UDRP and the .CO.AO and .IT.AO Policy

It is sufficient for the complainant to prove that either registration or use of the domain name is in bad faith, whereas the UDRP requires the complainant to prove both

The courts of Angola

The .CO.AO and .IT.AO Policy applies only to domain names under the “.co.ao” and “.it.ao” subdomains

The complaint and the response shall be submitted in hard copy (four (4) sets together with the original) and in electronic form

The complainant must send a copy of the complaint, together with the cover sheet the respondent (domain-name holder)

.AO domain names support ASCII characters

  • - have up to 63 characters;
  • - only contain alpha numerical ASCII characters and dashes;
  • - not start or finish with a dash
