Curriculum Vitae Mr. James Bridgeman
Mr. James Bridgeman, a national of Ireland, is currently a Barrister-at-Law, Arbitrator and Lecturer. He practices as advocate and counsel with a special interest in Intellectual Property and Arbitration, and lectures law at the Institute of Technology, Tallaght.
His previous roles include being an Associate lawyer in Patent and Trademarks Agents, Dublin, and associate lecturer in Multimedia Law and Internet Law at the Dublin Institute of Technology. Mr. Bridgeman is a member of the Mediators Institute Ireland, The Law Library, The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and the Association of Intellectual Property Practitioners. He is a founder member of The Copyright Association of Ireland.
Mr. Bridgeman has had articles published in Irish Law Times, The Commercial Law Practitioner, and Irish Intellectual Property Review. He received his B.A in History and Political Science and his MA from Trinity College Dublin followed by a Diploma in Legal Studies and a Barrister-at-Law from Kings Inns Dublin, Graduate Diplomas in International Arbitration and Arbitration Law, and a Higher Diploma in European Law from University College Dublin.
