Curriculum Vitae - Mr. Matthew Yeo
Matthew Yeo is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Steptoe & Johnson, LLP, where he practices in the firms Technology and International practice groups. Mr. Yeo advises clients on a wide range of issues related to electronic commerce, with particular emphasis on international issues in electronic commerce.
Mr. Yeo has extensive expertise advising clients on the development and implementation of secure electronic commerce solutions. He is a leading practitioner in the area of public key infrastructure (PKI) technologies, and has worked on PKI implementations in the health care, mortgage finance, insurance, and financial services industries. Mr. Yeo has advised clients on a wide array of legal and policy issues associated with the implementation of secure B2B models, and with the migration of existing business processes to electronic environments. He has written and spoken widely on U.S. and international legislation in the area of electronic signatures and electronic contracting.
Mr. Yeos practice also includes international arbitration matters and matters arising under the agreements of the World Trade Organization.

Mr. Yeo received his law degree from Harvard Law School in 1994 (magna cum laude), and an undergraduate degree in Russian Studies from Brown University in 1989 (magna cum laude). From 1989 to 1990, he was a Marshall Scholar at the London School of Economics.
