Intellectual Property Manager, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)
As UCLA's Intellectual Property Manager, Lorelei is responsible for the university's portfolio of copyrights and patents. Prior to joining UCLA's Office of Intellectual Property Administration in 2002, Lorelei worked at the international law firms of Skadden, Brobeck, and Arnold & Porter, specializing in intellectual property, technology, litigation, and business practices. Lorelei is active in training and teaching in the field, as well as in arbitrating disputes. She is planning, and speaking at, various IP conferences locally and internationally, including a few collaborations with WIPO. Lorelei has been invited to teach a course in "Intellectual Property Licensing" at nearby Loyola Law School in autumn 2005.
Lorelei holds degrees from Stanford University and from Columbia University School of Law, and she received honors from both for her achievements in international relations and law.
