Bruno LAMBRECHT (LLM) read law at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven where he graduated in 1997. In the same year, he joined the Brussels bar. He gradually specialised in administrative and public law and has conducted litigation and advised in matters varying from public procurement to housing and environmental law. In parallel with his law practice, he was a part-time assistant at the Law School of the K.U.Leuven from 1997 until 2001, teaching and publishing in the field of civil procedure (a.o. fair trial). In 2003 he graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Leuven Law School's Centre for Advanced Legal Studies (CALS), as Master of Laws, with specialization in Intellectual Property Law. In 2001 he joined K.U.Leuven R&D as a legal counsel. He advises on legal aspects of technology transfer, intellectual property and research funding rules (e.g. state aid, subsidies, tax aspects), and negotiates and reviews agreements for research collaborations and other research-related agreements (a.o. in EU Framework Programmes). |
