Kevin THESEIRA is a Managing Counsel at Agilent Technologies. Together with a team of Attorneys and Agents at offices in Singapore and Japan, he is responsible for providing Intellectual Property legal support for Agilent’s Asia Pacific operations, as well as operations in Europe.

Kevin’s formative six years in a US MNC included positions as a Product Engineer, R&D Engineer and Account Manager, which leveraged his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics from the University of Strathclyde. His endeavors included ensuring production yields for custom integrated circuits and wireless modules met required goals; development of two-way radio voice and data communications products; and selling radio communications systems.

Subsequently, after a period of mentoring and successfully securing an LL.B. from the University of London, he developed his career as a Patent Attorney over a period of 7 years. A few years with a Singapore IP firm then followed where his work encompassed drafting and prosecuting patent applications locally as well as in a variety of other jurisdictions; counseling on IP, and specifically, due diligence and patent strategies; and various transactional services, including licensing negotiations. Later he took up his position with Agilent Technologies where he has been for the past 8 years.
