Whatever happened to free enterprise? If a 16-year-old Canadian kid could see that the name appleimac.com would be in demand, long before Apple got a clue, then by golly, let 'em pay! I work for a company that markets a product called Salon Magic -- but if you go to salonmagic.com, you get an Australian competitor's site! Our web address is posmagic.com, and if people want to go there, that's the address we give them, no hard feelings. You can't always expect to type in the company's name and get their web site, because there are just too many companies and too many sites with similar names... People should learn to know how to get where they're trying to go, and not rely on the web address to tell them. Of course, an easily remembered address like hp.com or corel.com is a great convenience, but if the company was shortsighted enough not to register that domain early on in the game... Oooooppppsss!!!
