IVSC Valuation Webinar Series 2024

The IVSC Valuation Webinar Series 2024 ran from 13-25 June, attracting 3,000 attendees from 144 countries. This year’s series included five sessions where international experts shared their valuable insights on key trends and the latest developments in the world of valuation.

WIPO Director General Daren Tang was a panellist for one of the sessions ‘Economic Engines: The Role of IP Valuation in Growth and Innovation’. The other panellists included Ms. Lally Rementilla, Managing Partner, Intellectual Property-Backed Financing at BDC Capital, Ms. Srividya Gopal, Managing Director and Southeast Asia Valuation Leader, Kroll, and Ms. Rena Lee, CEO, Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS).

The session examined the complexities and methodologies involved in valuing intellectual property, and the necessity for trust and transparency in valuation methods.
