Advanced seminar on the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT)

Post-pandemic, we are finally able to offer our Advanced PCT training seminar for patent administrators and paralegals, which we have hosted annually at WIPO Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, since 2009.

The seminar will provide an update on PCT developments (including ePCT) and a detailed discussions about issues concerning both the international and the national phase of the PCT procedure. The event will also provide an opportunity to share experiences with other PCT users and learn from WIPO's PCT experts, as well as experts from the European Patent Office and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Day-one of the seminar will be offered in a hybrid format welcoming attendees both in-person and virtually, while in the morning of day-two we will offer hands-on workshops and clinics for those participating in-person. An optional guided visit to the PCT Operations Department will also be part of the activities on day-two.
