WIPO Virtual Regional Meeting on Developing the ASEAN Regional Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC) Network

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) held the ASEAN regional meeting on March 7, 2022 with support from Japan Patent Office.
The objective of the meeting was to strengthen the development of the ASEAN Regional TISC Network as a means for fostering exchange of experiences and best practices and sharing resources within the region.
About the meeting
In this meeting, TISC focal points in each ASEAN Member States shared information on the status, including recent developments of their national TISC network. This meeting also provided the opportunities for them to exchange their approaches to addressing the special challenges to maintaining and developing their TISC network and delivering their services resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. They also shared information on WIPO’s activities and resources especially on technology transfer and TISCs.
