New WIPO GREEN partnership with SS-GATE

Part of UNOSSC’s support architecture, the South-South Global Assets and Technology Exchange Space (SS-GATE), is a physical and Internet-based platform that facilitates the transfer of technologies, assets, services and financial resources between small and medium sized enterprises and other entities for inclusive growth of developing countries in the South.

The market driven system matches demand and supply for technology transfer and finance in core areas such as infrastructure, human development, food security, global health, and clean energy and the environment.

Formalized during the launch of the WIPO GREEN platform in November 2013, this new partnership between WIPO GREEN and SS-GATE will result in the sharing of database content for the promotion of the transfer of green technologies and supporting services, the sharing of solutions and best practices, and the provision of expert advice on intellectual property related to green technologies.
