A tool designed to provide assistance to trademark applicants when selecting appropriate Goods and Services terms and their associated Nice classification in different languages during the filing process. This tool also provides support to trademark examiners in IP offices in their validation of trademark applications.
WIPO Translate is an advanced machine translation service provided by WIPO. It utilizes neural network technologies to offer automated translation of patent documents, scientific articles, and other intellectual property-related content. WIPO is developing image similarity search capabilities for the Global Design Database. This future feature will allow users to upload design images and find visually similar designs, facilitating design searches and aiding in the protection of industrial designs.

Fifth session of the WIPO Conversation

The fifth session of the WIPO Conversation on IP and Frontier Technologies looked at the new technologies and assessed their possible uses in IP administration and registration as well as the disruption they may cause to the IP system. It encouraged information sharing across all stakeholders from IPOs to private enterprises and sharing diverse views from IP professionals, innovators, creators and individuals. The WIPO Conversation is in an open, inclusive, multi-stakeholder forum intended to provide stakeholders with a leading, global setting to discuss the impact of frontier technologies on all IP rights and to bridge the existing information gap in this fast moving and complex field.
