【WJO’s Event & Activities】Asia-Pacific Regional Workshop on Copyright and Related Rights for Heads of Copyright Offices

From October 27 to 30, an Asia-Pacific Regional Workshop on Copyright and Related Rights for Heads of Copyright Offices under the WIPO Funds-in-Trust/Japan was held in Tokyo in cooperation with the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Government of Japan. Twenty-four officials from Asia and Pacific countries participated in the workshop. This workshop aimed to facilitate an exchange of opinions and discussion on policies and strategies relating to copyright and related rights among the participants. Ms. Gao Hang, Director, Copyright Development Division of WIPO Headquarters, participated in this workshop as a speaker and moderator, and Ms. Yui Ema, Associate Officer from the same division, participated as a speaker.
