【WJO’s Events & Activities】Training Course on the Use of Information Technology in Industrial Property Administration

A Training Course on the Use of Information Technology in Industrial Property Administration under the WIPO Funds-in-Trust/Japan, organized by the Japan Patent Office and WIPO, was held in Tokyo from October 27 to November 7, 2014. Twenty-five officials from Asia/Pacific, Africa and Latin American countries attended. This training course aimed to enhance the participants' professional planning and management capacities in the use of information technology in industrial property administration. Mr. Masaki Okamoto, a Counsellor (Acting Head) at the WJO, joined the training course and made opening remarks.
