Smart Students Know the Value of IP

The WIPO Singapore Office and WIPO’s Arbitration and Mediation Centre (Singapore) delivered presentations and participated in a Q&A panel as part of a webinar organized by the National University of Singapore’s Entrepreneurial Society.

Around 30 students, start-ups and researchers participated in the webinar which also featured a representative from the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore and an IP lawyer.

Discussions covered the value and operation of the patent cooperation treaty, how IP can help student entrepreneurs, the role IP plays in the commercialization process, and the benefits of alternative dispute resolution.
