Building PCT Capacity in ASEAN

It was a great opportunity for the WIPO Singapore Office to co-organize the Sub-Regional Webinar on the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) for ASEAN member states.

The theme of this training event was PCT in times of the Pandemic, and it featured speakers from WIPO who provided updates on the latest developments under the PCT, and WIPO’s initiatives in response to the current health crisis.

A real highlight was the roundtable component where each of the ten ASEAN member states had an opportunity to discuss their experiences during the pandemic in relation to PCT operations.
