WSO Hosts First Training Since the Pandemic

It was with great pleasure that the WIPO Singapore Office (WSO) welcomed the very first group of delegates to the Office since the beginning of the pandemic.

The group, led by Brigadier General Police Mr. Anom Wibowo, Director of Investigation and Dispute Settlement, consisted of officials from various Indonesian government agencies including the national IP Office – the DGIP.

Ms. Qiyao Dong from WIPO’s Arbitration and Mediation Centre provided them with training on alternative dispute resolution whilst WIPO Singapore Officer-in-charge, Mr. Peter Willimott, introduced the group to the work of the Office and its role in promoting IP as a tool for economic, cultural and social growth in the ASEAN region.

The WIPO Singapore Office hopes this will be the first of many such visits from Member States in the future.
