How to File your International Application

In this episode, Matthias Reischle, Deputy Director, PCT Legal Division, discusses the filing of nucleotide and/or amino acid sequence listings (sequence listings) that form part of the international application. He outlines the requirements for filing sequence listings including: how they should be presented; the inclusion of "free text"; notification of formal defects by the International Searching Authority; and the provision of sequence listings on entry into the national phase.
