SCT Electronic Forum
The SCT Electronic Forum has been established pursuant to a decision of the WIPO Standing Committee on the Law of Trademarks, Industrial Designs and Geographical Indications (SCT) at its first session, which was held in Geneva from July 13 to 17, 1998 (document SCT/1/6, paragraph 21), in order to accelerate the deliberations and discussions of the SCT.
The E-Forum is open for subscription to all SCT members and observers.
The SCT Electronic Forum is used for the electronic distribution of, and submission by e-mail of comments concerning, preliminary draft working documents and draft Reports of the SCT. However, as decided by the SCT, alternative methods of participation, such as facsimile transmission or post are provided for those SCT members or observers who wish to participate in the Forum but do not have access to electronic communication means.
