Join Us in Celebrating Youth During the WIPO Assemblies 2024
Youth, the future of innovation, and intellectual property in life sciences
On the margins of the WIPO General Assembly, WIPO and IFPMA are organizing an interactive live mentorship session on the future of innovation and intellectual property in the life sciences sector.
What can you expect?
This interactive live mentorship session focuses on prospective advancements in innovation and intellectual property within the life sciences sector. The event brings together stakeholders from the private sector, research and academic institutions, and youth to examine the necessary skill sets for addressing both current and future global challenges.
Participants will acquire knowledge on how advanced intellectual property frameworks and strategies can facilitate and protect the entrepreneurial pursuits of aspiring innovators, while also contributing to the advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
This intergenerational dialogue merges innovation ideas and IP in life sciences, with a goal to inspire, educate and build passion for innovation and associated IP protection mechanisms. This cross-generational discussion drives further the goal of IP YES!, which is to spark passion! Build skills! And empower Action for innovation among youth.
To conclude the discussion, Just Richie, an artist, has composed an original music piece linked to the theme of the panel.
